A Glimpse on Information Technology Division

NCC Bank Ltd., established in 1993, has since progressed through various stages of developments particularly in IT and automation areas. Due to a visional strategic decision, taken by the Board of Directors and Management Executives, NCC Bank integrated IT commenced on September 23, 2008, with a view to streamline customer and banking service as well as complying with the Bangladesh bank ICT guideline. It was quite a remarkable achievement in the year 2008 that NCCBL successfully implemented a robust Online Banking Solution throughout its branches.

NCC Bank IT teamed with 55 dedicated IT personnel who work round the clock with a view to provide support in core banking Flora UBS software operations along with System, Hardware & Network maintenance support to all its branches and Head Office including Chittagong Area office.

At present, IT division is comprised of the following departments/wings

  •   Core Banking Operational Support
  •   System Support
  •   Network and Communication
  •   IT Hardware Department
  •   DR Site Monitoring
  •   Software Development

Now the bank has a separate state of art Data Centre which is the nerve of IT architecture and a prerequisite for real time online banking operations. As part of Customer Enhancement Initiatives, NCC Bank has introduced real Time Online Banking Service covering all of its branches across the country.

We have introduced MICR cheque to comply with the implementation of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH). In the way to implement our own ATM network we have deployed Switching software for establishing ATM interface
