NCC Bank observed Financial Literacy Day-2023 aiming to involve underprivileged & marginal people in the financial sector. In this regard, as per guideline of Bangladesh Bank Financial Literacy Corner has been set up to all branches of NCC Bank across the country. On the occasion, Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director & CEO of NCC Bank formally unveiled “Financial Literacy Book” and inaugurated the “Financial Literacy Corner” at head office premises today (Monday, 06/03/2023). Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir & M. Shamsul Arefin, Additional Managing Director’, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan, Md. Mahbub Alam, M. Asheq Rahman & Md. Zakir Anam, Deputy Managing Directors’, Mohammed Anisur Rahman, SEVP & CIO, Syed Tofail Ali, SEVP & Head of Operations, Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, SEVP & CFO and Md. Monirul Alam, SEVP & Company Secretary along with other Senior Executives were also present on the occasion. Besides, others Divisional Heads of Head Office along with Managers of all Branches were also participated the program through digital platform.
Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director & CEO of the bank said, NCC Bank is working for financial inclusion of mass people across the country as well as ensuring Financial Literacy for all as per Bangladesh Bank guideline under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Bangladesh Government. He hope that through this, underprivileged community such as Farmers & low income people, Students, SME Sectors, Women Entrepreneurs, Youths, Teachers, Small Traders will be involved in the financial sector which will ultimately develop the overall economy of the country.
