NCC Bank has distributed agricultural materials & machinery free of cost among 500 marginal mustard farmers of Anawara Upazila of Chattogram as part of its corporate social responsibility to increase agricultural production. Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Director of NCC Bank as chief guest has distributed mustard & other vegetable seeds & backpack sprayer among marginal farmers of Anawara Upazila, Chattogram. Md. Monirul Alam, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary of NCC Bank presided over the ceremony while Ramzan Ali, Anwara Upazila Agricultural Officer graced the occasion as special guest. Besides, Ali Tarek Parvez, EVP & Regional Head of Chattogram and S. M. Moin Uddin Azad, Manager of Anawara Branch along with local elite were also present on the occasion.
Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Director of NCC Bank said that NCC Bank is working for the food security of our country. In this continuation, NCC Bank is supporting the marginal farmers to provide agricultural materials and agricultural machinery across the country as a part of social responsibility. He hopes that this initiative will help the marginal farmers to cultivate mustered & other vegetable crops as well as to increase its production. He mentioned the plan of NCC Bank to help marginal farmers by providing preservation facilities for onions and cultivating vegetable crops in Faridpur, Rajbari, Kushtia, Pabna and other districts.
